Let's settle the "zombie cop" issue.

I think it's hilarious how many people get confused by the cop that freaks out at the end of the movie. Let's clear it up. The cop got shot with a stun gun, a non-lethal weapon for crowd control (the riots) that shoots either a bean bag or a rubber projectile. The impact of this weapon at close range caused severe head trauma and caused him to go blind (quite common in head trauma cases where the retina's detach). His blindness, being in shock, and still fealing threatened caused him to attack anything that he sensed around him out of self preservation, or survival instinct.
I thought it was pretty obvious, but I got a laugh out of all the claims of zombification. Hope this clears up the issue. -

Thanks for explaining that. I saw this for the first time a few days ago and thought it was a zombie for like 3 seconds. After thinking about it logically I knew that wasn't the case but I couldn't figure it out.
It reminds me of a scene in Blue Velvet where a guy gets shot in the head but he's still standing up
