I gave it two stars. One of the worst big-budget "serious" films for adults (rather than the 12-22 year old demographic) I have ever seen. There is no drama, just talking heads and an almost laughably poor combat section.

So what if there are no 'Avatar' like action sequences its a waste of a movie? Good thing you live in these times. The old movies that were "talking movies" and are now considered classics would have bored you stiff!

Without judging the number of stars suitable, this is a compilation of talking points and a rehash of political views more than a movie. Even the dialogue is more like endless lectures and posturing. If you buy the politics then the sophomoric cliches may sell. As an ex-college teacher, I find Redford's character unbelievable and pompous in a new and uninteresting way. My advice, Redford should write a position paper.

Four week old leftover turkey as far as I'm concerned. A pompous mess filled full of endless preaching and very wooden acting. By far the worst picture I've ever seen with such a talented cast.
$33,000,000.00 budget?? Shades of "Springtime for Hitler". ROFLMAO!
