I give Leonard and Howard a lot more credit than that, and I also give Bernadette more credit in that she would respect the anonymity and autonomy of voting.
Leonard - Trump
Sheldon - Trump
Howard - Trump
Amy - Clinton
Penny - Clinton
Bernadette - Trump

Very interesting. It's neat to see how people view the characters through different lenses. -

Sheldon, Leonard, and Howard are probably all good enough at math/statistics to know that voting for Trump IN CALIFORNIA would be irrelevant, so they wouldn't bother. Which, along with illegals voting etc, could help explain losing the "popular" vote.

Yes, but that doesn't take into account all the down-ballot elections and props that need to be voted on. Could they go to vote and leave the Presidential selection empty, while voting on other parts? Sure. But what's the point? It only takes a second to vote for the President. I can't see all of them just skipping that portion of the ballot. -

I've got to think that some couldn't manage to pull for either of them.
Now you're walking my history, posting and deleting. How does it feel to be driven to be such a coward spammer?
Keep up the new spamming, my ragey brother.

Sheldon - Clinton, because she is (or appears) more intelligent.
Amy - Clinton, most likely. I dont think Amy has much grasp of politics and Clinton is a woman and part of the establishment.
Leonard - Clinton, most likely. Leonard is social, but not very political, and wouldnt know about Clintons warmongering.
Penny - I quite frankly dont know. Like Leonard, and possibly even more so, Penny is social. But she had been poor in the past and might understand the appeal of Trump.
Howard - Very likely Clinton, but I cant rule out Trump completely; Trump certainly is the more entertaining one.
Bernie - Bernie [Sanders] SCNR nah she would very clearly have voted Clinton. Her being republican wouldnt have mattered because Clinton is actually far more conservative / republican than Trump.
Stuart - Absolutely no idea.

It was a very close election, so I cannot see Sheldon being illogical enough to think his vote wouldn't make a difference.
They'd probably all vote Hillary, because of science. Trump's about to destroy science. And Penny would vote Hillary for other reasons. -

It wasn't close IN CALIFORNIA. Overall popular vote isn't the issue, as we've seen once again.

What evidence is there that Hillary knows or cares anything about "science?" Aside from "science" that brings money to her and the "Foundation." -

Interesting topic. First of all, I think the gang lives in a parallel universe, very similar to ours, but with some striking differences. There, California does not suffer from drought, wildfires, or El Nio. Also, if a general election was held, it was much calmer and blander than the one we experienced. So, I'll base my observations on what we know of the characters and their backgrounds:
Bernadette: raised in a conservative household, but spent her adult life in academia, pursuing a PhD. Works for Big Pharma. Bases her vote on pragmatism and logic, but tends conservative.
Amy: raised in an oppressively conservative household, against which she has consciously rebelled. Academic. Tends liberal.
Penny: household probably progressive with conservative leanings. Totally apolitical. Not even registered to vote.
Leonard: 100% academic background. Leans liberal.
Howard: Jewish upbringing, but largely secular. Leans liberal but rarely votes.
Sheldon: strongly conservative and religious upbringing, which he has rejected. Totally apolitical, totally self-centered. Has never encountered an issue or politician that motivated him to vote.
Raj: not a citizen, though applying for citizenship could benefit him professionally. However, doing so would anger his parents and cut off the gravy train.
Stuart: small businessman, should tend conservative, but too depressed and apathetic to vote.
Geez, and I like these characters. Go figure. -

I think Bernie would have voted Trump, Leonard would have voted Clinton, Penny could go either way, Amy would vote Clinton, Howard might jokingly say he's voting for Trump just so we could have a joke about Raj getting deported but he would end up voting for Clinton. Raj can't vote, Sheldon wouldn't bother because it's beneath him, OR he would vote for Jill or Gary as an experiment. Stuart wouldn't have a way of getting to the polling station.
Kurt would vote Trump because he reminds him so much of himself. Zack would think Donald Trump is a Disney cartoon character, and he'd vote for him. Kripke might have a hard time deciding between Twump and Cwinton. Bernadette's dad is voting for Trump twice. Janine Davis is voting for Clinton three times. And Sheldon's mom is voting for Ted Cruz even if his name's not on the ballot.
