If vegans had the power, would they stop lions hunting antelope, or ants milking aphids for honey dew?

get out and see the real world sometime
As someone who has travelled to many different countries, lived in one the most diverse cities in the world, moved countries, this is honestly laughable. Again, **** off

I'm sure Bill Gates is currently developing a green gruel we can all live on.
Humans need protein. It's hard to get protein from plants. If everyone stopped eating meat the plants wouldn't cover the global population's protein requirement. There are other such problems with a vegan diet too.
I have no problem eating animals. Food chains are perfectly healthy and ethical, since they exist in nature. Eating cooked meat is part of our evolutionary story and it's thought that the practice is what helped increase our brain size.
I would rather eat rats, mice, squirrels, coyotes, and anything else I could trap or hunt rather than be limited to a vegan diet.

It is not hard to get protein from plants - beans, lentils, soy, seeds, nuts … And the majority of crops that are currently grown are fed to farmed animals rather than to people. All that food grown to plump up cows for your plate could in fact go towards ending human starvation.
Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't.
