Well, she'd have to be younger than she is now in a prequel so maybe they could take footage from Roseanne and piece it into the new show and pipe in new words for her to say. Her mouth could move and different things would come out of her mouth like in the old Kung Fu movies.
That might work.

Excellent tie in! And did you know, not even an hour after my post last night a commercial came on with "Kung Fu Fighting" playing in the background? It was as if the cosmos and I were one!
And I tried to make you a coub illustrating my Laurie Metcalfian suggestion above but the youtube to mp3 converter wasn't working. I'm in the process of finding out who should be flogged.
