We do not know her very well, and so it is impossible to say, but my immediate reaction is that she is the sort of woman that Raj needs. Down to earth and more mature than he is.
His parents will have a cow, and as was pointed out, that's a bigger deal in India than it is here. -

Sorry, but I don't think she can pass for late-30s/early 40s. I actually thought she older than 50. She reminds me of Sophie from 2 Broke Girls, an older lady that tries to act & look younger, & Raj is her boy toy, which Raj seems to love.

Hi,
! A lot of what I say about her, of course, is just posing and posturing, done for my own amusement. I like to stick it to her diehard fans.
It's fun to write smack and amp it up, adjusting adjectives and such to create the desired effect. I find it entertaining.
