Rumors are rife that "The Big Bang Theory" Season 11 is cancelled. The show has been giving us the laughs for 10 years.
After a decade, will the series be shelved? The series is still bringing in the ratings for CBS and remains as one of the popular sit-com. Below are the three main reasons why "The Big Bang Theory" Season 11 will be cancelled.

Cost per episode
It was revealed that "The Big Bang Theory" episodes are quite expensive and cost $9 million in production per episode. Main actors Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, and Johnny Galecki are raking as much as $1 million per episode. Supporting actors Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar get as much as $900,000 per episode.
While cast members expressed their strong desire to come back for another season, salary negotiations are still underway and there is no concrete decision on the future of the series.
Kaley Cuoco jealous of Melissa Rauch
Main actress Kaley Cuoco who plays the role of Penny is reportedly jealous with co-star Melissa Rauch. Apparently, Howard and Bernadette's family life is gaining more attention since the two are having a baby.
For years, Leonard and Penny's relationship has been the focus of the series for its 10-year run. Kaley is reportedly jealous of the attention that Melissa's character has been getting recently and requested that her character will be pregnant too.
Sheldon prequel
Lastly, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 11 will be cancelled and will be replaced with a spinoff about Sheldon's childhood. Sheldon is, definitely, the funniest character in the show and his childhood was hinted in the series like having a religious mother, a drunk father, and a popular twin sister. The spinoff is reportedly in the works and fans will get to see a young genius Sheldon.
Meanwhile, there is no official statement from "The Big Bang Theory" creators Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady.

Exactly. Like you said make of it what you will. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. For me personally I don't believe a word of any of these articles. Especially the part about Kaley being jealous of Melissa. She has said in interviews that she would prefer not to have babies in the workplace. If that's how she feels then there is no way she would have requested her character be pregnant too.

Yeah, because everything on the Internet must be true.
- Not really sure what makes BBT so expensive, but it's not the cast. As of right now, their collective salary is about $4.7M, which is $1.3M less than Friends' cast made during its final season (12 years ago). And let's not forget the boatloads made off of streaming, syndication, and DVD sales. It also wouldn't surprise me if some other network makes a deal down the road to continue the syndication much in the same way Nick at Nite paid to run Friends' episodes from 2014-2017 (which paid off big time for them).
- If you can find a second source to back up this 'jealousy' thing, then fine. But this is the first I've heard of it.
- The Sheldon prequel is still on the drawing board. With pilot season only two months away, it'd be very difficultif not impossibleto get a Sheldon prequel on the air in time for the 2017-2018 season. And bear in mind, Sheldon isn't the character the show revolves around; Leonard is. As much as this show has a main character; he's similar in nature to Monica on Friends. And for every Jefferson's, Frasier, and Boston Legal you can give me, I can give you a Joanie Loves Chachi, After MAS*H, and Joey.
I'd really need to see more evidence than from a Chinese-based media company.
