Can you make fun of the network thats airing the Emmys and signs your paychecks?
JF: They havent restricted me in any way. If its funny, they dont care. And theyve always been that way. No ones telling me anything like, dont go here, dont talk about Conan [OBrien]. Well touch on the stuff the networks gone through. Well probably have a couple of jokes in there about all of the late-night stuff. You cant not talk about it. And we have a couple of ideas with Conan
DH: Isn't NBC scared of violating his severance agreement?
JF: Nah, its all cool. Hell be there. At least thats the plan. Were not sure Jay [Leno] is going to be around. We hope he comes, too. Were not sure right now.
Really looking forward to the show.Hope Conan wins.

Emmy viewers can expect comedy gold if Tonight Show host nominee Conan OBrien attends the NBC telecast. Im going to have to do something with Conan, says Fallon, who received an e-mail from the past Emmy host with some tips. I really want to make it a classy night. Jimmy is a classy guy.A good guy.It wont be anything too over the top/mean.
I think hes gonna be a great host.
Its very cool that Conan will be there and joining in on the fun.
Theres a few articles wondering what Conan can/cant say.
I bet hes gonna be super classy.

simpsonman, during the whole "Tonight Show Debacle" I recall your having talked about writing a report for school on how much you didn't like Jay Leno, and that it ended with the statement "down with the chin". I just wondered if, five years later, you still felt as you did during that tumultuous period, and is there any chance you'd share your school report here? I've always wanted to read it.
