I think the cleanliness thing is peddled as a justification for the procedure. I couldn't even say whether I have been with a circumcised man or not because a cock is just a cock to me and I have never needed to concern myself with the foreskin or no foreskin aspect. Which goes back to my original point being that surely the foreskin is there for a very important reason - ie. protect the sensitive head. It's a little bit of bodily armour and has a purpose. Hacking it off just seems really bizarre.
