First and foremost, if you are going to say 'first and foremost' you should probably have more then one point.
Secondly, young is a relative term and 30 is still fairly young when people live to an average age of almost 80.
The characters were still young in the sense that they hadn't figured out life and become settled yet. -

At the time of filming most of the actors were in their mid to late 20's. The exception being one actress who was 32. I'd consider that fairly young, especially as the average age for "settling down" increases.

Yes, pedophilia is wrong, but lusting after teens is NOT pedophilia, that is going after UNDERAGE kids!
Plus, unjustly calling someone a "pedophile" has ruined SO many lives, that saying it unfounded should be punishable!

I'm saying that lusting after TEENS isn't pedophilia. Oh, I forgot, that in prudish US you have to be 18 most places before having sex. Also, this movie is Canadian, and in Canada the age of consent is 16. Here in Europe it's mostly lower than that.
But none of this takes away from the fact that calling someone a pedophile unjustly HAS ruined a lot of lives.
And do send someone to check my computer, please. They will find nothing of interest.

Well, here in the USA we have something called morals!
