What a disaster Bill C-10 Please!

It's people like him who have ruined the american culture.
I mean who the hell are these religious nutjobs to tell people what they can and can't do or watch. What makes your morals any more "right" than anyone elses?
And what makes sex a more "evil" act than murder. Because god damn it you can watch people killed and tortured at the age of 13, but you can't watch sex, because that's wrong. The natural god given act of reproduction and making life is wrong.
Europe has it right, they are much more lax with nudity, as they should be. There is nothing wrong with the celebration of ones own body. Our bodies aren't something evil to be ashamed of, like the christian and catholic church want us to believe. Not like anyone listens to them anymore. Religion is the abslute worst thing to ever happen to the world. It's brought more injustice, more war and death, more racial and social ignorance than anything else. And for what? A book written by a few guys who thought they'd write a nice story that would glorify positive morals, only to have people take the book to seriously, and it's ideals too far. With the help of course by the amplitude of men who saw the bible as an easy way to gain power over other people. -

This film didn't receive a grant. It had a federal tax credit like every other film made in Canada - EXCEPT for porn or hate films. Without tax credits there would hardly be a film industry in Canada. Bill C-10 IS a disaster, proposing that some bureaucrats make a decision AFTER a movie is made to determine if it meets some nebulous family values. This would effectively kill a $40 Billion industry in Canada (including indirect revenue) as no one would back a film under those conditions. The industry also employs directly and indirectly about 600,000 people. There are many other jurisdictions in North America offering competitive tax credits - the state of Michigan just introduced a 42% credit and has started to build up a small film industry.

Another insipid addition to the endless repertoire of ignorant remarks regarding the so-called "har-earned tax payer's money". Now cutie, let's just pretend that your theory is true and that this film received "large" amounts of government money why is it that all people who show such circular logic as yourself always assume that only right-winged people work hard for their money. As of this date, the popularity of the Conservative government has never been so low and the only thing I would consider as being pornographic is Stephen Harper's face on CTV.

Back in the good ole days, the only place to see this seamy drivel would be in a XXX theatre or maybe one of those peep show places
Yeah i miss those places to man. There is no better place to watch young people f*%*ing than in porno theatres..Damn internet and loose censorship of mainstream movies have all but killed these fine institutions off..
..and when you touch yourself in a regular cinema people complain.
You just can't win

It is now painfully obvious that the evil triumvirate in Canada comprising the sinister socialists, the Quebec separatists and the Liberal intelligentsia are determined to stop the passing of Bill C-10, which would effectively terminate trashy movies such as this one from ever being madelet alone conceived. The Right Honourable Prime Minister Sir Stephen Harper was nearly obliterated because these three parties have a strong desire to perpetuate the pornographic state we all live in.
It is good that Sir Harper had the presence of mind to prorogue government after the sinister threesome attempted to stop him from passing Bill C-10. I for one am proud to be governed by such a strong and sustainable leader who fights for law and order and lets me keep all my guns for protection from all the sex maniacs out there fuelled by porno and drugs and decaying cities.
This movie is a symbol of all that is rotten in the world. Even though I haven't seen it yet, my priest assures me that it is nasty and filthy and chalk full of nudal frontity. He has watched it several times in order to document the filth for discussion at weekly mass. And I can assure one and all that we are all completely flabbergasted.
No more peep shows, no more triple X movie theatres and no more mainstream porn for meI've had my fill over the years. It's time to pass some solid laws and put a stop to this once and for all. -

''He (the priest) has watched it several times in order to document the filth for discussion at weekly mass.''
You know, sometimes I truly love the internet. Sometimes, it just makes me wonder.
This line, above most of the others, is so obviously a joke.
I am just lost for words. Every single person who replied and took the OP seriously
I worry. I really worry.
It just just so I. I don't know how to go on. I just don't.
I am actually going to go to bed sad, sad to think that so many people totally failed to get a joke. Where do you guys all come from? Have you heard of sarcasm? You do know 90% of humor comes from taking a real situation to an extreme right?
Why am I going on? I guess I just don't want to give up yet but you people why why why -

Mister kilgorr, I was greatly disturbed by your obviously troublesome diatribe against patriotism. Question: What exactly do you find troubling about the PATRIOT ACT and the HOMELAND SECURITY ACT? What exactly do you have against patriotism and a sense of feeling safe? We all pay our taxes right? So it's only natural that the government provide us with safety and pride and especially some kind of protection against all the dirty magazines and movies that we are all forced to watch day after day after day.
When is it all going to end? I need Bill C-10 as soon as possible. All this debauchery on a daily basis is wreaking havoc with my family life. Please mister Harper PLEASE! We desperately need Bill C-10 right now!!!! -

To the OP and other old coots on fire,
I must first say that, to me, it is quite irrelevant whether you are a troll or a psychopathone fact remains that you represent a disturbingly high yet (somewhat)silent number of similar-thinking 'individuals'. I would like however to remind pro Bill C-10 enthusiasts that short of a miracle (yup, a miracle) this law will never see the light of day not unlike the Conservatives opposition to gay marriage a few years ago, quite simply because it violates fundamental constitutional rights AND that no one would support it-whether you like it or not!
But imagine that C-10 did passperhaps you could watch great films such as: "Old People Farting" or "Lawrence Welk Returns" made by Pixar. Go ondream.
For once my signature is not ONLY a signature

What is wrong with people like you?! Right wing bible thumping morons! If the government dare censors sex in movies, then they better censor horribly disturbing gore (hostel) and excessive violence (take your pic of movie) as well. Sure, lets all go back and live in the 50's. JESUS CHRIST! What do you mean "protect the public"? Just don't go see the god damn movie - how hard is that????/

Petapepa
I am wearing out the carpet rolling on this floor laughing. Damn you're a big prude. Unless you've ever been Sailor and/or a Marine on shore leave at places like Bangkok or Amsterdam you have Never seen real porno.
I am a Roman Catholic man your idiocy and the idiocy of other fascists like you would make my priest. A normally highly tolerant man angry. As Jeckert has stated laws aren't there to enforce your sense of morality on all of us. Cause if it were every gang banger, drug dealer, child molester, rapist, fascist, communist etc idiots out there would be locked in a room and the key thrown away. No food, No water, and Certainly no way out.Laws are there to ensure that I don't go out and kill the idiot fundamentalist Christians out there shaming the rest of us Christians with your Diatribe.
You know, The Office of the Holy Inquisition once thought as you do now, up until as recent as 1950. Look what happened to Europe when they started using the laws to force their beliefs on others. It's fine to have an opinion but forcing it on others will get you nowhere. If you peddled that attitude in my barrio you would have people lining up to do you harm.
I would never trust a bureaucrat to be able to distinguish between mainstream and what's out there. They've never gotten it right before and they sure as hell are not gonna start now.
First it's c-10 then next thing you know we're the USA with their Patriot Act. Now if you wanted to form a group to protest that act or to get it revoked Homeland Security can says you are a "Security Concern" and hold you without due process, representation, rights or freedoms, indefinitely. Yeah that reminds me of something oh that's right!! Marcos, Stalin, Hitler, Polpot there are too many to list.
The fact is child the world is full of many different personalities . There are deviants wherever you go. You cannot use the law as your personal morality stick, if you did you'd end up like Afghanistan and Al Queda. Then again maybe you think that extremists like them and that David Khoresh and his Branch Davidians in Waco, they killed themselves btw. Moves like this bill is just another step towards a totalitarian government. Towards a Big Brother run country as Hitler, Stalin and their ilk tried to create.
C-10 Will never pass and if by some remote chance it does I'd be the first of many to protest and lobby to remove it. -

The original poster is very insulting and troubling. Because we all know that he is far from the only person who thinks like this. The idea of censorship is WRONG.
WHY! WHY, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WOULD YOU WANT THE GOVERNMENT TO DECIDE WHAT IS RIGHT OR WRONG TO WATCH, PLAY, READ' ECT.? THIS SEEMS LIKE A TOTALITARIAN IDEAOLOGY THAT WOULD DESTROY THE ESSENCE OF LIBERTY IN NORTH AMERICA AND INFRINGES ON HUMAN RIGHTS!
LET ME ASK YOU THIS petapepa
Who are you (or anyone else for that matter) to dictate what is immoral for society? Who decides? Where do we draw the line?
People have been killing in the name of religion for thousands of years. Why?: for the exact same reason you want to censor this movie, to impose your opinons, morals and beliefs. This is the orgin of war at its very root.
WHEN WILL WE LEARN THAT WE WILL HAVE PEACE WHEN YOU BELIEVE WHAT YOU WANT TO BELIEVE, SEE WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE, CONDEM WHAT YOU WANT TO CONDEM AND LEAVE THE REST OF US (WHO DON'T SEE THINGS YOUR WAY) THE beep ALONE!
LIVE YOUR LIFE AND I'LL LIVE MINE, I DON'T NEED YOU OR ANYONE ELSE TO SAVE ME.
I believe in God and assure you that YOU ARE NOT responsable for my soul.
Bottomline: Censorship will not save the world but tear it apart. Society would flip its lid if censorship laws would come to exisit. Live and let live damnit! Other people watching this movie does not hurt you in any way!
"Imagine there's no countries. It isn't hard to do. Nothing to kill or die for,
and no religion too. Imagine all the people living life in peace" - John Lennon -

First off: a troll!
Well if you aren't, then go and watch the movie before opening your mouth (or touching the keyboard in this case). It's much less vulgar, and far more touching (and funny) than any American pie (or similar stuff) is. If you judge the movie by the title, then you're just bad.
Maybe the movie should have been called "Young People Having Sex", but that sounds so retarded that I give credit for the guys that named it. At least you're interested in watching it (or complaining in one's case
).
I didn't even get a hard-on on this movie (and I'm not impotent). So, please, ask your priest if he knows what he's talking about. Or did he just complain that this is bad porn? (no offence here, sorry if it was too much).
And again, now to everyone: PLEASE WATCH THE MOVIES BEFORE COMPLAINING! Oh man, would you kill Zack Sneider for showing Dr. Manhattan's big dick in the theatres? I hope not.
Cheers!
