sex, little bit o' comedy, . Sounds like a softcore porno with better actors, toned down sex scenes and a little bit of nudity here and there. it shows how low this country is going where every film HAS to have sex in it even though it's totally pointless.
Not only is it affecting our culture as a whole, but it's affecting our younger generations. I know you probably think I have old fashioned ideas, but this is coming from a 17 yo worried for the future. Movies like these may be funny or romantic but it's showing one thing the media is using to control us with. Sex; and you can tell from the percentage of sex amongst teens is increasing.
Movies where two complete strangers meet, say hello, learn each other's names then beep. yep it sets pretty high standards for teenagers. It sets a great example of what teenagers should do. And don't say "oh but it's rated R so it's the parents fault" while it is true, there is one thing wrong with that arguement with this particular title.
"YOUNG PEOPLE beep" great title. Oh and the picture of the guy getting ready to perform cunnilingus on the IMDB page isn't really appropriate either. Wonder if that is on the back on the case? who knows, probably is with a vagina and tits right next to it and a penis penetrating a vagina right below it. Sounds perfect.
The ratings? it deserves a 0 any movie that bases itself around sex as one of it's biggest pillars should be banned completely or moved into a porno section.
But while you think of an arguement against me, try going to a public beach and maybe you'll see just how much parents are starting to care about their little girls now.
I mean letting their little girls run around completely nude on a public beach infront of hundreds on onlookers is completely normal right? I thought it wasn't perhaps I'm mistaken. Perhaps me thinking it is incredibly sick and retarded to let your children do that in a public area is just me being old fashioned.
Now I never feel like going to a beach againfull display of mental retardation, carelessness, and brainwashed fools. You would think they would be smarter in a world like this, during times like these.
And sex in media has nothing to do with this right? pff. neither does it have anything to do with underaged pregnancies or out of work underaged moms. I believe that as much as I believe Micheal Jackson's face is real. Don't even get me started on that "Vagina monologues" story either. /end rant -

I figure OP is a troll post, but I do want to mention that every couple in the movie knows each other fairly well. It's never just two people meeting, exchanging names, and then having sex. The friends have known each other for 20 years, the couple has been together long enough to have their relationship be stagnant, etc. The exes, the roommates, even the first date couple is familiar enough with one another for their situation to not be random.

You know what's insane? The entire time I was watching the movie, I kept thinking, "This movie has got to be Canadian. It has this huge Canadian vibe to it." and lo and behold at the end there's that Canadian movie logo thing.
Really makes me wish I lived in Canadasigh. -

I'm an American too. Maybe it was just the general feel of the way the people talked. Also that everyone lived in apartments. It also seemed a lot like Short Bus which is Canadian as well. I'll be honest, I'm not entirely sure what it was.

This is a film about relationships and the role sex plays. This is exactly the sort of thing we should talk about more. Much healther.
Absolutely nothing in this film is for show, nothing is for getting off, it is funny but it also has a point. The women in it are HOT, but there is nothing scintilating about the (very, very minor) nudity. Society got over side-boob shots in the 80s, I'm sure.
Honestly Hollywood has a big problem with 'lets get some tits in this then we got ourselves a picture!' but this film is not that.
Direct your anger somewhere else missy, this film is for older consumers, not younger generations who are going to watch this and decide to have a threesome. -

Now please watch the movie before trolling!
If you thing that that's vulgar, then I'm sorry for your sexual life. And what about little girls? This movie is 18A in Canada, so the only reason they will see it is that their parents let them watch it. And if they do nothing bad will happen. A few laughs don't hurt anyone.
Watch the f&cking movie before posting! -
