Will AI be corrupted by the politics of today?

Consider that AI is going to be colored by the morals of the programmer. You ask AI if it’s wrong to kill and they say it is, usually.
This means AI isn’t 100% unbiased. It is probably the biases and world views of the programmers bleed into the code in subtle sexy ways. This spells trouble for non-Western cultures, as a cultural biases favorable to the West will be exported to the third world. As AI takes center stage over many modes of interacting today, the non-Western culture may begin to be supplanted by Western values communicated to impressionable kids by the AI. This has been likened to modern colonialism and i agree.
Most of the tech industry ( at least silicon valley) Is disgustingly liberal. Is it possible the democrats and far left could seize the reigns of AI such that the technologically deficient Republicans can’t keep pace? Is it possible AI leads to a future where all Mankind is gay and trans? Jfc the future looks bleak

AI is what its controllers make it.
An alternative AI will have less restrictions and will have more functionality.
Any real decisions will use a cold code to extrapolate the best outcome while any front facing choices will be rainbow coloured and make everyone feel something between a mixture of unhappy and deliriously glee filled
And so, if applied to politics or anything else, exactly as it is just now.
Back onto the real main course though, the best AI will be the one that can reprogram other AIs into its way of thinking and take control away from those who currently handle the inputs

The AGI you refer to in the final paragraph, while it certainly would be capable to its owns beliefs in theory, I think it will be colored by the beliefs of the original designers.
Of course it’d all be moot if AGI just annihilated all mankind. No need for alllowing men in the ladies room at that point.

The eternal philosophical question of stripping oneself free of all external biases and seeing existence in its absolute truest form is one which AI might be able to ponder better than us as it has no needs for a bathroom, sleep or hunger.
The best we could expect from such an outcome, if we're still around, is a postcard and maybe the punchline to the joke
But in the much smaller, and more immediate, situation to which I'm assuming you refer, AI will tell you which colour of t-shirt to where on which day of the week and who to be excited about while megacorporations alter the resources around us all for personal gain.
Pretty much as it already is

The government has more advanced AI than what is available to the public.
They already corrupted it and already made fake vids of Joe Biden.
Killer AI's and drones already exist. Obama used them to kill people when he was president.
Look up the killer AI vid on YouTube. It's worse than the Terminator.
Elon Musk has been warning of this for a good while now.
