I don't know about his experience with swords, but Luke Roberts, the actor portraying Arthur Dayne is an actor. He has several credits in his IMDB page and he has been playing Woodes Rogers in Black Sails where he is the main antagonist of season 3.

Dayne is the guy on the left not right. Unless somehow the guy on the left is the guy who is Dayne's sword fighting double, then you got it mixed up.
