The collective memory about both media an the willingness to help with things I long forgot.
The relatively high academic standards when compared to more blue collar boards (coughTWDcough).
The entertainment level generally and especially during off season, albeit not as good as last year, I blame the elections.

I think you mean attainment.
There are no standards and that's the best thing about this board.
The other two are a fair blend of film related knowledge and the Thrones experts-in-residence.

-Most people here know almost everything about ASOIF, so I can ask any questions and I'll be answered immediately, which is great since that I haven't read the book yet, which leads to no.2
- People here don't look down at the people who didn't read the books.
-People here are nice and friendly , sometimes I get this "we are family vibe" .
And there is nothing wrong with Brian's shirt , I've seen worse .
