Bullshit! This is s pretty glaring omission. In the last book the snow has started falling in KL. On the show the kahleesi had a vision of the iron throne room covered in snow. So why no winter in KL?

Well then I guess they decided not to use CGI on the King's Landing set since it would be too expensive or look fake.
The snow on the iron throne in Daenery's vision might be with a capital S.
