Good, bad, nice are just human's concepts. Gods are beyond that.

I think I would appreciate Rhilor for resurrecting me, especially since nobody has to burn for that.

We don't really know anything about the actual Gods, just their followers. It's not the Gods' fault if their followers are complete dicks!
Still, the Drowned God and the God of Many Faces don't seem like anything I'd want to worship, although the Seven might be okay.
Seventy-seven courses and a regicide, never a wedding like it!

Gods have no mercy, that's why they're gods. You should listen to your queen, she's wise.

The Mother seems to be nice.

The problem with the god of the sparrows isn't the god but the followers. cough think Christ vs the Church in the medieval era.
Otherwise, yeah, the Lord of Light reminds of Mithras. Like most pagan gods, he wasn't a particularly nice dude.

Do you think there's a difference?

In the Summer Isles they worship a fertility goddess with 16 teets.

The Seven don't seem to do anything bad, possibly because they don't really exist.

                          None of the gods exist.
There is magic in the world. Some followers of certain religions credit their gods with the magic they can do.
Most people thought I was a hero for killing Lydia's parrot.
