The Hound and Brienne

If you had brutally killed many people, including having once gleefully slaughtered a child, and you had publicly bragged about putting women in the ground, you too would have earned a monstrous reputation. Moreover, this is a medieval setting where both Cleganes are believed to be cut from the same cloth. And the Hound's own actions have encouraged this opinion. A person's reputation means a great deal in Westeros. Brienne had every reason to be concerned that such a nefarious, infamous, and violent killer was even in Arya's proximity.

That's right, and the Hound who knew there was a price on his head had good reasons not to trust someone carrying a Lannister sword with a well visible golden lion pommel.
Long may she reign

At this point Arya has turned into Chuck Norris, a force of one. She no longer requires protection. Sansa has turned ruthless, Cersei better look over her shoulder. The Hound will dispatch The Mountain with his breath.

Even if you wanted to make that argument, the Hound's reputation is not entirely unfounded. He slaughtered a child and merrily retrieved the bloody, mangled corpse to the king's party. He also went on a bizarre and very public tirade about how he loved to kill and how he had put women in the ground. What are people to think?
PS. If this is another joke post, A+ trolling. -

When she was talking to Sansa she said the man Arya was with seemed like he was good to her.
Yeah, she was sugar coating it to put Sansa at ease about Arya's fate but she hardly seems to be holding hurt feelings over the thing.
Her personality is actually very much capable of changing her mind when new evidence presents itself. For instance, she changed her opinion on Jaime. She was willing to work with Davos and Mel despite their being with Stannis previously. She was willing to trust them enough to leave Sansa with them granted because Sansa convinced her Jon was trustworthy not them. But if she were the type to really stick herself in she'd never have allowed her with TeamStannis.
I'm no big Brienne fan but she's one of the most reasonable characters. All Sansa would have to say is the Hound was kind to her and she'd back off immediately. -

I don't assume the BWOB are going north to be with Jon, I'm assuming they'll stay in the Riverlands and approximate the "Lady Stoneheart" schtick from the books.
With Arya.
