I don't know if it's just me that whenever I hear Brienne of Tarth talking, it strikes me funny. Something about her accent is unordinary.
Jaime and Cercei's accents are distinctly different. Given they're twins and grew up together, it's weird.

At some point you just have to suspend disbelief. Some of the actors try more than others with their accents, but casting everyone to have a single accent would really limit casting options. Brienne is from Tarth, so maybe her accent would be different. The one most people have a problem with is Tyrion.

        Tyrion? Why?

Because he's American, and people complain that his accent doesn't sound remotely British, while all the Brits on the show somehow have flawless British accents. Go figure.

But the English actress who plays Daenerys sounds like a American. No?

I'm probably fighting with enough people right now, so I'll refrain from commenting on which ones, but some Brits sound similar to Americans without a regional accent. I wouldn't say she sounds American though. I'd say she has less of an accent than other characters. The problem is, even amongst Brits, there are dozens of different accents. Hence why characters in the same families don't sound alike.

Thanks for the explanation. It just seemed to me some of the actors/actresses tone down a bit their English accents because I could understand them without subtitles(so I was surprised Tyrion's accent was a problem to some).

It is and yet people's accent can change when they adapt to a new environment.
                  Listen to this :
We could assume that Cersei and Jaime's accents took a different path from their original Westerland nature.
The Starks also have different accents, anyway.
                  Long may she reign
