First one was pretty decent but suffered from bad direction. Final two were way too dour but were pretty brave and smart for a teen franchise. Catching Fire was a straight up good movie.

That black girl that died in the first one sucks.
Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Donald Sutherland aren't half bad, though.

   Seeing Arrival on Monday, excited af, especially after Mr.Managers review of it. I'm hoping it'll be my 3rd favorite recent sci fi film.
