              I liked the Willard Price
              Adventure
novels with Hal and Roger Hunt. I didn't get them all, but the ones I had I read all the time.
I also went through a pretty serious
              Redwall
phase that lasted two, three years. It was so serious, in fact, that I got caught reading one of them during a school assembly.

I always forget the name of this book but it was about an old lady who lived on top of a hill that had trolls living under it. She ran into the trolls when her dumpling rolled down the hill into the sewer.
I also liked the rainbow fish.
