iran has a far superior military than israel's, as shown by the hamas "sneak" attacks from last october. and the iranian's saw what Hamas did and have studied the tactics and strategy of Israel.
iran's economy can easily shift into war production, whereas Israel can not do that. and both china and russia have no concerns about providing iran with whatever current weapons systems Iran wants. Israel, not even close with a much much longer supply chain from usa and urope, not to mention the political aspect, which doesnt exist in russia/china.
i think israeli special ops are better, but that's not going to matter against Iran which showed during wae with Irag 40 years ago that it has plenty of willing citizens to volunteer as suicide bombers and suicide brigades, batallions, even divisions.
why iran launched such a weak attack is a disturbing question, unless it was a massive reconnaissance by missle&drone fire and the iranian analysts are now plotting second attack with fresh intel about israeli and US anti-missile/drone capabilities.
the time to have kicked ass was with Carter. the next time was Reagan in 1983 after Iran blew up the marine barracks in lebanon, but Reagan was mortified and terrorfied of the cubans in Grenada and gave Khomeni a free pass and implicit green light to continue expanding militarily without fear of US action.
in a war with Iran, israel is finished. -
