I'll ignore this because I like you.
The UK is heading toward a devastating end with Scotland demanding a second Scottish independence vote,

Even if a second referendum is held, the polls still show that we are against independence.
The polls have proven to be unreliable with respect to both Brexit and the US elections. Why would they be accurate with respect to the rejection of nationalist movements, which is what Scot independence (to allow them to re-join the EU) would be, no?
Brexit is interesting in that I think it might be a good thing in the long run. Britain can exert lots of influence over the EU in trade, but without Scotland, the UK is in big league trouble.
What might help the UK hold Scotland is if the option to rejoin the EU for Scotland is rendered impossible and not improbable. I don't know if the EU would want Scotland that much, but it'd give them leverage over the UK given the trade between Scotland and the UK would seemingly necessarily need to continue.
        Believe me.

Why is the UK in 'big league' trouble without Scotland? North Sea Oil revenues went into the red and supplies are dwindling. Spain has already said they'd block Scotland rejoining the EU. Trump has said the UK would be at the front of the queue for deals.
I think if Scotland want to leave, good luck to them. But good luck trying to join the failing EU where independence votes are a tricky subject.

The SNP can draft as many bills as they want. The people of Scotland have already spoken.
There's been one vote, so? The public spoke then, but may sing a different tune if a new one is called. Especially since you guys were so aghast by the Brexit results, the yes side may just have a momentum this time.
Faith is a gift that I have yet to receive

It wouldn't be such a bad thing for the English and Welsh.
The Scottish represent a huge left-wing constituency in Parliament, although they would be called right-wing if they had independence. It's pettiness more than anything.
I wish California would leave. The state is an economic disaster thanks to illegal immigration and leftist policies. We wouldn't have to worry about a Democratic President of the Hillary or Obama ilk anytime soon without their electoral votes.

You did just fine, Clarence. Now go get yo'self some hot cornbread!

lol that would work out terribly for scotland, spain france among others have already said they would block them from entering the eu, they would just destroy their own country, especially considering oil prices are extrememly low and it would cost thousands of jobs at the coast (military contracts would all move south to england)
