40 is when it goes from trend to serious.
Good for Villeneuve. Sicario, Enemy, and Prisoners were all good films. Branching out with a sci-fi drama was a good move, as long as he doesnt' let Marvel co-opt him. -

I haven't seen Enemy, but the other two were really good, especially Sicario.
I like that he's obviously gone more blockbuster with this film, but hasn't copped out and made it an effects bonanza. This looks sophisticated as well as good-looking. It would be a shame if Marvel took him prisoner, but then again, maybe he'd give us a great Marvel movie? -

I don't hate this movie, nor the director. I will be great, probably.
The reason I sighed was because their bias is undeniable and disgusting at this point. RT are the very worst.

Don't just hop on a joke of a sock account just for the kicks. If you'd even care to look you'd see D&D get kick ass scores on RT
It's not only about Nolan, it's many other great movies that get sh-tty scores because they are not award-bait enough, or have the right name attached to them

and what evidence do you have on that? did you read every review of those movies to know that their opinions are unfounded?
