these season 7 spoilers with cersei getting pregnant is nothing more than just a cheap way to keep lena around because they love her so much. otherwise there's no way cersei could survive season 7. but with the pregnancy, saintly jon wouldn't want want to kill a baby. and burning alive a pregnant woman might even be too much for dany. jaime couldn't be able to kill cersei either because he would also be killing his child.
i don't like it, it would have been better if the double D's had let cersei unleash her full villainy for the first six episodes and killed her in the last. -

I think the baby might be used as a means to keep Jaime in with Cersei. You can tell he's pretty much done with her by the end of last season, but her having his baby will probably keep him in line.

Cersei was always an endgame character.
"The Winds of Winter" clearly paints her as one of the 3 protagonists alongside Dany and Jon. There was a time when Tyrion was more important than her, but not anymore.

Well before she meets her end , she will probably be made aware of who Jon's true mother is, remember the feelings of jealousy she had towards Lyanna Stark, I'd expect the revelation to provoke an extreme reaction.

I always thought so too, since she's described as being really saggy during her walk of shame, but there is also that egg she opens that has a chick in it. That could easily be miscarriage foreshadowing.

only her breasts are described as somewhat saggy but its only natural she would lose weight when she was starved. i never got the feeling that she gained that much weight to begin with. either way she's had 3 kids and there's no way she wouldn't realize pregnancy symptoms at that point.

Her breasts are described as saggy. But she is generally described as saggy as well. And I wouldn't say it was just "somewhat saggy" either. The kid who commented on Cersei's body was obviously shocked and disbelieving that the queen could be as saggy as his saggy mom. And Cersei even admits that her body was seen by the smallfolk as "more like their mothers than their pretty little maiden daughters".
I think it was a combination of having three kids, then getting into heavy drinking, gaining some weight as a result, and then being put on a very restricted diet while she was imprisoned. That can really take a toll on someone's looks.

I didn't either. Just enough to get a gut probably. But you don't need to gain a lot of weigh to get saggy. It just depends on your skin type.

That's what I always thought too, but this new development has me questioning my previous assumptions. -

this is stupid D&D fanfic. no way this happens in the book. jaime/cersei aren't f-cking and cersei would immediately take moontea if a kettleblack got her pregnant. i don't even believe that she'll be having sex with anyone after ADWD, she's too heavily guarded by septas. -

It's GRRM who is fixated on the saggy part. He mentioned it repeatedly. I was just going off what he wrote.
