well because it makes no real sense, it did with jon since he was raised among the nobles, gendry literally doesnt know anybody other than arya, he never lived the life nor knows how it works, lessers lords may not mind jon since he was raised a stark, gendry was raised as a peasant

Wrong. His royal decree is accepted thoughout Westeros, and as King in the North, he could make Gendry legit. Stannis (southerner from the Stormlands) was allowed to do so for Jon.

I guess you never heard of Rhaenyra Targaryen. Dany still has more claim than a usurping, distant Targaryen relative of a Baratheon. We will just have to see how it plays out and who will be right. -

Like I stated before, she would grant Gendry the Stormlands as she would see that he does not pose a threat and she can control him. Other than that, she would have to waste years vetting a new family to control the Stormlands.
