Daario has been with her for 3 years or more, all of the time. How do you not understand that? The kings that have given lands to supporters have known them for years and generations.

Tyrion had to earn it by spending time with her. She tested him by leaving him in charge for weeks after spending months with him. Henry VII never stepped foot in Westeros or Planetos last time I checked.

Gendry will be spending time with Dany and crew. That is how I came to this conclusion. There is absolutely no other reason to bring him back in to the story. He is back to be given the Stormlands. His story parallels Jon's, on a smaller scale.

There are probably better blacksmiths in the Citadel for that. His Baratheon blood has been the emphasis much more than his smithing. He is the last. He is 1 of about 2000 blacksmiths in Westeros.

He is still alive too. He broke Ice down in to the 2 Lannister swords. Plus, he was the only one with valyrian steel knowledge in King's Landing, not Westeros.

They will need many blacksmiths to mass produce for a war, not one. That would be assinine. Gendry is back because he is the last Baratheon- though not a major part of the story.
