I hope Trump is elected. If having him elected president is what it takes for Dem's and Rep's to get their acts together, then I'm okay with it.
I'm not sure how him getting elected would do that. For him to win, he'd have to have the majority of Republican support anyway.

Because everybody at that point would reflect on how broken the political system is. We have two completely garbage options for president. Something needs to change. If Trump is elected, maybe the call for a third party will finally happen.
