Wow, a cantaloupe allergy. I had never heard of that one.

It's mild- my mouth gets itchy and I get an upset stomach. Watermelon is way better than cantaloupe anyway.

All melons are pretty gross but especially cantaloupe.

I agree except watermelon. That one with green flesh is especially terrible.

Honey dew? Or whatever it's called. It's cantaloupe's less douchey cousin. I'm not a fan of watermelon either but I bought some the other week during a weird period craving. That or I'm actually dying.

                              Just pollen and emotions.
I had a friend who became allergic to a bunch of different fruit including peaches when she was in her early 20s. I always felt it was so sad to know what a peach tastes like but never be able to have one again. Worse than being allergic all your life.

That peach story is like a sci fiction story.
A week ago the youngest of my brood (he cannot be a Prince; must be a Duke or Earl) had a birthday party at a restaurant. One kid party goer shows up with his mum, she says Buddy here is allergic to peanuts. Here is his epipen". Buddy brightly added "I might die!
Then I turned to my Princess asnd whispered "was the cake made with any nuts?!?!". And she said "I don't think so"
