Oh maybe it is! One of my villagers said it was tomorrow. I'm trying to finish the smile isle achievement and I read that you can spawn them asking you for favours by talking to them incessantly! It does work but sometimes they get annoyed and get a purple scribble over their head.

I only talk to my villagers when they want to talk to me or if one of them lose something. I'll have to try talking to them until they ask for favors.
