It was a long time ago, but the ending to 28 weeks set up a 3rd film where France and the rest of Europe was ****ed, it seems like they have retconned this?
The trailer shows a kid named Jimmy and Jimmy is also mentioned later in the trailer ( biblical graffiti on the barn ) so I am guessing Aaron Taylor Johnsons character is named Jimmy……Jim already being the name of a known character in this series…. what the **** we need to see OG Jim not have another Jim! **** ATJ and his version of Jim! -

The movies are called bone temple part 1 2 and 3 i think. Makes sense after seeing the bone temple
The plot is apparently about a mother getting their kid to a doctor or vice versa, i cant remember which lol -

I wish they made a third years ago tbh and kept it as a trilogy then. These 3 new movies they have planned sound like ass tbh. I have faith that this movie will be good going by the trailer, but the two that follow I imagine to be garbage. Especially with a marvels director taking over from danny boyle or whoever's.
They even have the second movie wrapped up now! I hope they bring back andy and his sister. I doubt Selena and Hannah will be in it, but one can hope.
I really do think that's Jim in the trailer too. Lmao. I asked a few ppl yesterday if they thought it was Jim and showed them a pic from 28dl and they were like nah so I was like r u insane? Then I was like wait a minute and showed them a recent pic of Cillian and they were like yup deffo Jim

i have read that he only has essentially a cameo in the upcoming film, and has a much bigger role in the follow up film
the 2nd film could be a prequal and we could see how Jim becomes infected? if that is infact the Jim zombie and not a dream sequence or a look a like easter egg.
Nia Dacosta is directing the 2nd film, it was shot back to back with 28 years. She did the marvels -

They did say Cillian would be returning in a "surprising way we wouldn't expect" so being jumpscared in the field like that could be what they were referring to lol. I haven't heard much about him being in the second tho. I wonder what he would be doing im the second if he's already dead

Also curious as to how infection has survived for 28 years seeing as infected die from not eating after a few months, after 28 years there should be no zombies mooching around no more, even if " small communities " did survive the outbreak and bevame infected years later, it just dont make a lot of sense to me.
