If you have ever been in sales, this is one of the first things that they teach you in training:
After you make the sale to your customer, keep your mouth shut! Stop selling the item. Otherwise, you stand a chance of having the customer change their mind with you losing the sale.
Theresa and Brenda BARELY escaped alive from that ranch. Any idiot could see that those ranchers had an extremely hard time with letting the two women leave the ranch alive. Theresa sealed the deal where she and Brenda were allowed to keep their lives with a bag of money as a bonus!
Brenda had no business running back to the ranchers on the porch for ANY reason! It was one of the stupidest decisions that I have ever seen a character make on the screen.
Theresa is better off by just cutting Brenda loose.
Stop rattling the pots and pans, Ma! The boys are trying to sleep! -

Ha Ha! I was just talking to my co-worker about that. What an idiot. I still want her to survive though.

Well I think Theresa thought the same thing when she jumped in her car and took the beep off without her.
I also thought it was incredibly stupid of both of them to just drive up and break into that tunnel or whatever in broad daylight. What were they thinking? -

That was the most ridiculous part of all.
Let's see.there's something secret being hidden in that's tunnel by the head of the drug cartel..just a few hundred feet from that farmhouse that may or may not have men with guns in it.Let's go see what's in there.But first, we're going to need something big and heavy to loudly beat on that lock with..We're not going worry about how much noise we're making.Or worry about who comes looking.
Each one by herself is kind of dumb. But put them together and they have the IQ of a pine cone.

Brenda is definitely the weakest link. Has nothing to do with the actress and their skill. It's entirely the character.
She needs to be killed off. She's obnoxious and annoying and has no redeeming qualities at all.
