Why can't the people who don't get the movie find an old hater thread and post their angry clichs and trite criticisms there instead of making a new repetitive thread every time?
I'm calling them haters because they didn't just dislike the movie, they also seem to be really offended that anybody liked it and they have to clog up the board with repetitive garbage that's about as thoughtful and meaningful as jokes about how the French love Jerry Lewis.
We get it, haters; you are inexplicably angry about a highly acclaimed movie you didn't get. There's no shame in not getting this movie. Try to show a little respect for others. If you ask nicely, maybe somebody will give you directions to the clue store.

There's another word for the haters: trolls. Lets see who will be the first.

I really don't wanna hate this movie but,
After seeing that every critic gave this a 100/100. I just wanted to watch it.
It's probably the most overrated movie I've ever seen.
Most of the scenes in this movie were unbearable.
The acting is terrible and boring.
The headcharacter is someone nobody likes.
The directing is just plain, nothing sort of excitement in the movie.
        There is no story.
        There is no plot.
        It's just silly.
And the writing is actualy awful. When I watch a movie like Whiplash, I see one of the best writing and screenplay ever put to film. You can see what the movie was going for, and in the very end an amazing twist no one saw coming. THAT'S WHEN YOU MAKE CINEMA HISTORY!
This movie has never done that, and it's just average. I can't even give it a fair rating because it's an 100/100 on every critic side. 1/10.

The headcharacter is someone nobody likes.
This is flat out wrong. I admire Mason for not feeding into situations that could have lead to unnecessary psychic damage, yet he managed to stand up for himself too. Bravo I say.
You have the right to your own opinion.
However, I do want to point out the repetitive nature of your post.
Your thoughts that pretty much mean the same thing:
          There is no story.
          There is no plot.
Nothing sort of excitemment in the movie.
          The acting is boring.
Most of the scenes were unbearable.
These are all related or almost exactly the same thing. The simple fact that the movie is Slice of Life will lead to all your conclusions.
In addition, you do not have the maturity to disassociate someone else's opinion from what you thought, so the fact that someone else gets pleasure from this movie means you have to tear ir down even more? Go get some help. These thoughts will harm you even more when they become about something more serious than a movie review.
I have a far different opinion of Whiplash, but I'm certainly not going to go on that board and tear it down just because other people thought it made movie history. I'm happy you got so much out of it.

Borehood. How could linklater make this crap. I think I may hate this movie more than any movie I have ever seen. And I watched it twice to be sure. Yep. Pos.

Here's a clue for you, OP. You get as much respect as you give. Instead of being condescending and snarky, why not just ask your question nicelylike a grownupand see if you can make a difference on the board? Cuz your post Just sounds like a hater/troll as it is.

I think it's more of a rebellion against critics because most everybody on this site troll or not really loves movies and movies are like critics, a dime a dozen. Most films that get high ratings from these blog writing, latte sipping "to intelligent and creative to actually produce anything" types are movies that fall inline with how they see things are in the world, it's the same reason trump was elected, the minority ignores the majority who are fed up with these Hollywood progressive cliche Films Hollywood year after year goes in this order
Remade (rehashed in some way) crap comedy.
                  Slave or racist whitey movie
                  Rewritten war film
And then a drama that suxks because their hasn't been a real actor since the 80s. Scripts are being written by millennials who's greatest hardships were waiting for the next game system to come out. There's zero creativity on TV or film, hence "Reality " everything.
