Same here. I was born in 1993 and this is one of my all time favorite films. The little details; such as the Apple computers of the early 2000s, Dragon Ball Z posters, playing Halo 2, etc make me feel very nostalgic and bring me back to my childhood. It's so nice to see a film portray growing up in the 2000s.

Well, with Richard Linklatter movies, if you're not a native of the Austin area and marveling at the filming locations, it's unlikely you'll enjoy his films. I like his movies more than anything because of filming locations

Same for me, actually. The only thing I enjoyed about the movie was to re-live Austin, where I recognized even the quality of the light as nostalgic for me, crazy as that sounds.
I didn't hate the film but I didn't fall in love, and the only reason I keep my Blu-ray of it (which would have otherwise gone to the charity shop) is so that I can see Austin. -

As someone born in the 90's, I thought the film was ok- but I guess I was never that tuned into pop culture. Didn't have a lot of money, or friends and didn't care about a lot. I liked the music though, and seeing parts of my hometown.

Little girls shouldn't look for four leaf clovers!
