Why did this only get two seasons

Okay ratings, then its stars began to leave, first Jane Lynch for "Glee", then Adam Scott.

I know as it's a great show. But sometimes comedies like this are classics just because they only lasted 2 series or so. Fawlty Towers for example

I wholeheartedly agree. This totally had AT LEAST one or two more good seasons in it! Great show
