Given the way this season ended, will we be seeing Shauna remain the chief of the cult or will this mutiny take her out?
Since the writers saw fit to tell us who survives by injecting the awful adult timeline, we already know Natalie lives. So does Shauna. But I think both characters acknowledge that they killed the frog woman. Or maybe just Shauna did. Knowing the and having drawn inspiration from Lord of the Flies, I am sure the group will sink to deeper depravities in season 4, with at least 2 more murders (Hannah and also young Hillary swank, who unbeknownst to them survives)
Either way, with help presumably on the way, their time in the woods is coming to an end. Psychologically, if and when this becomes known to characters, id expect some of them to snap out of this group delusion. Maybe forming a rift leading to 2 warring groups

So, here's my speculation…
We know they get rescued between January-February 1998, we know that "Canadian Thanksgiving" likely took place in late October 1997, the title helps mark this as well as the season and the first falling of snow. Now in the finale we can see there has been an indeterminate time jump between the penultimate episode and the final…it doesn't seem like it could be very much time though…I'd say no more than a week or so at most, we can look at Misty's still busted lip to help determine that, as Natalie hit her over the transponder. So I think the finale occurs in early to mid-November…then we still would have a month or 2 before actual rescue comes. Natalie makes successful contact out, so why then would it take another couple months? Well I'm thinking maybe something fails shortly after that contact so they don't actually know where they are BUT they now do know their are survivors, so rescue teams will be dispatched again. Additionally they used the KUH communicator which should be identifiable on the other end (I am guessing?) and they know they lost contact with the frog researches already AND they know the approximate location where they would be because of that. Although that poses the question why a search team for just the missing frog researchers wasn't conducted. Anyway, I expect Shauna will have a melt down over the betrayal, and her primary targets of vengeance would be both Natalie and Hannah. We know there needs to be some time for Hannah to develop a bond with Melissa and Gen too though. I think Shauna will murder Hannah in revenge, possibly others also since we know more will die before the rescue. I can't image another hunt happening that they all participate in though. Even this last hunt we can see from the flashback (as well as cast a cast interview that aired post finale) that the hunt was really a plot that was supposed to result in a coup to kill Shauna, yet Melissa dropped the ball. As far as Melissa's death, the story I thought implied she faked her death post rescue, but I expect we will get much more information on that and her character as whole going forward.
We will see…hopefully at least, it's not great that there's still been no word on a 4th season being greenlit.
