i'd love having her here!
her and
spacebunny, PTL, Heather, Talker, VB and Betty
lol
i have some issues with this dream list of yours.
SpaceB: she told me in imdb message the city she lived in ( REDACTED STATE NAME TO PROTECT PRIVACY OF ATTEMPTED MURDERESS) and try as i do, i cant remember it. Issue is this: why didnt she join in the open on here? i suspect she's hovering on deep, deep background. but come on! you tried to plug
Hawking
, made the British Tabloids, and you wont post on this place? no, as quirky beautiful as she was/is(?) FilmBoards needs an active breed. she gets to stay home.
ptl: she def should have joined up. if what i read was tryue on another site, she needed to be here.
heather: who?
VB: fugazi may have something to say about this
talker: that retard from (redacted state name) who used to post aimless questions? that "talker"? NO!
betty: most likely a PE creation. no way no how this woman was the daughter of the green river strangler! please. but then ben ate up the entire narrative and even added his own storylines to the sad, sad saga of orphaned 'betty"
Hawking
/ spacebunny deep digression: as a german, you dont know the TV show
Law& order: criminal intent
. over the top to an extreme! but one episode had the killer in a motorized wheelchair, suffering from some degenerative muscle disease. Killer was a quantum astrophisicist who was world famous.[ sound familiar?] plot spoiler: This person's graduate student is found dead. he's been co-working on a groundbreaking paper with the killer. Vincent D'nofrio character suspects the immobilized professor as the killer. but everyone swears he cant get out of the wheelchair! D'nofrio suspects that the grad student was the TRUE genius and that the wheelchair prof was a fake and poser.
D'nofrio stages an event and entraps the crippled professor in a lie, both physical and factual.
to me, the writers have clearly implied that Hawking was NOT as disabled as he and his millions of internet lapdogs proclaimed.
Maybe spacebunny was outraged at Hawking's duplicity? maybe she figured out that Hawking was using his debilities as multiple crutches for fame and sympathy, and because she felt betrayed, she had to fly to Ibiza and kill him?
what you think? plausible or do you hold like all she was mentally ill and loved him but realized he would never recognize her, being a commoner with no training in quantum elctrodynamodynamics? -

Like someone else said, season 3 seems to be showing you who she really is, a very twisted person. The crash did not make her this way, it may have unlocked some things and exacerbated them, but it didn't make her the psycho she's unraveling into. She enjoys hurting people and doing bad things, we can see the evidence of that all over from season 1 until now. That's not just about trauma. I think the show is leading us somewhere with Shauna in particular, but I don't want to spill the beans on my theory yet. Anyway, did you see the delight and excitement on her face when
Lottie murdered that that scientist in cold blood with the axe, Shauna loved it.

My suspicion is that Shauna is really a big sociopath. She enjoys doing things that hurt other people. A lot of her actions throughout the series from before the were stranded and into the present suggest this.

This episode really laid it out. Lottie is Crazy, we all knew that but she just gets worse not better out there as time goes on. Shauna is evil, before the wilderness, during, and after. If lottie is the danger among them in the form of untreated mental illness then Shauna is the danger in the form of pure evil. The end result is the same, people get hurt, abused, murdered…but we get to see it from 2 different types of character. Natalie was the best leader, people may not agree with everything she did but she tried to be just and sane.

this makes a lot of sense.
i'm also mad at young Natalie for being such a follower and succumbing to Shauna's insanity in the whole Coach incident/trial when she had to actually be a good leader and SAVE HIM. she didn't save him bc she has no backbone which doesn't make her a good leader imo, sorry. i liked her before that, now i've got no respect for her left. she was part of the crowd who ****ed Coach over and i'll never forgive her for that.

For Natalie, and a lot of the others, I have to keep in mind that the situation they've found themselves in is very lord of the flies…You know many of them are not ok with certain things but voicing that is becoming increasingly dangerous. We're talking about a handful of freethinkers and many more people who are followers…You can see Natalie wants to do something but she knows if she tried the others will just kill her. In the end she does do what she thinks is right, consequences be damned. I have a soft spot for her, both in the teen and adult timelines.
