i wasnt so shocked tbh. i was and am still mad at literally every single one of these girls (and Travis) for ****ing over Coach. i cant forgive them that, and most of all evil Shauna and all her spineless braindead followers and bootlickers in that clique (Van, Taissa, Melissa, Gen, Lottie). they're despicable and them going completely mental at the end just made me shudder with disgust and anger. **** them.

I thought Shauna was terrible from the very opening on the first episode of the first season, she's never been a likeable character but as this season continues we get to just how really depraved she is. Both actresses portray her great and she is written well, but she is an awful character.

Well she was shagging her best friend's bloke then marries him after letting her friend freeze to death before eating her with the rest of the group. She was never a nice person but she seemed the most reasonable out of them all.

In the past or present? I could see her appearing as reasonable in the present, she comes off as quiet and demure, but in reality she is twisted as hell. Lets not forget she cheated on her husband, then murdered the man she had an affair with, then dismembered his body, then just went about her life…oh she also get sexually aroused when they went to his art studio to destroy any evidence. She's way worse than just not nice lol, I think she is the most degenerate of all of them. In the past she seemed to have it together in the wilderness, atleast until she lost the baby, after that its been a continual spiral into malicious madness. Season 3 convinced me she is a sociopath.

I disagree, I think the show is painting her out to be bad from the very onset. The idea some monsters are made and some are born comes to mind. I think its sort of a subversion of that idea in the forms of Lottie and Shauna. One might expect Lottie, presumably born with mental illness and left untreated is an example of a monster born, while Shauna the seemingly normal teenage girl was made through trauma out in the wilderness. I think it's the opposite, Lottie is ill but under treatment whether by medication or therapy or both has things under control and doesn't seem to really want to harm people, she is a monster made. Shauna is just wicked, she likes hurting others, she gets thrill and excitement in it…she is the monster born.
