Show may have Daemon survive Gods Eye and secretly live on as a monk of the Nightswatch or something stupid like that, since he made peace… with himself.

They definitely both die at Harrenhall during Battle of the Gods Eye, and that has to happen next season since the entire episode was a buildup to it. It's just insane that it didn't happen tonight and they think they can get us hyped for a battle that won't happen for 2 years. Pure evil.

They jumped the shark with this. People get bored easily and move on. Two years is a long time. What do they plan to do in season 4 if it all comes to a head in season 3?
They could have had the battle in the finale, had Rhaenyra occupy Kings Landing and meet her ultimate demise after succumbing to the Targaryen Madness 6 months later and being executed by The Return of the King (Aegon) at the end of season 3 as she was fed to his dragon.
Season 4 would deal with the fallout and cleanup, Aegons assassination, and The trial of Corlys. Corlys is supposed to have poisoned Aegon in the book, but Creggan Stark conducts an investigation, arrests 21 suspects, and Corlys eventually goes free. As we well know, poison in GOT has been established to be a weapon wielded by women, so he clearly didn't do it, but at the end we will probably be shown who the real culprit is and why it had to be done that way. Probably Alys Rivers or maybe even Helaena in the show. There is literally a ton of stuff still happening after Rhaenyras death, the story does not end with her.

Wow, thanks! This does sound interesting. Of course,I will give it a season 3 try, if I’m still alive by the time it comes out!
Just catch up then. Better than prematurely ending eveyone's fun.
