I'm not even finished watching it yet. I'm at the part where Joker finished the trial, the music number about Building A House.
I had no idea that Joaquin could TAP DANCE??!
The only flaw I see in this film is that there is not enough Joker. I wanted to see a movie about Joker. Instead, most of the film is about Arthur. Arthur is boring. Joker is interesting and Joaquin as Joker is entertaining. He really has the character down. He's probably the 3rd best Joker. Heath first, Nicholson second place.
Too bad Joaquin has already won an Oscar for this role otherwise I would say he deserves an Oscar.
Lady Gaga is meh. Anyone could have played Harley Quinn better than she could. Even her singing isn't that great.
She obviously must think she is Cher or Steisand. Lol -

Todd Phillip using this movie as a commentary about mental illness, sensationalism and how in the comic book would and in the movies, these superheroes and villains are always replaced by another person was brilliant.
