No amount of alcohol changes that. Like…how many pints before kids look good to you? None? Well. Same with musicals. 😅
I've seen people who would never sing karaoke change their tune (
    ) when drunk enough.
That said who drinks around children?

Actually… come to think of it. I have one exception. Pink Floyd's The Wall. I LOVED that.

That was fantastic! There was a showing of that, and a date and I went to see it. He was so appalled, he wanted to leave. I let him leave. I stayed and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I've seen it about 5 times. It's just astoundingly good, imo.

I've seen Rocky Horror Picture Show, which was ****ing painful to watch. For me, that is.

That's one musical that will always be near and dear to my heart. I think it's a Pavlovian response at this point!
I do like some of the older "musicals" like the ones with Gene Kelly in them, but that's mostly because I enjoy the dancing.

Can't. Hate musicals. Just told Juan that my one and only exception is Pink Floyd's The Wall.

The Velvet Goldmine about 70s glam rockers was my favorite. Great cast.

Another one of my favourites! I have watched that movie at least six times.
                            At least!
But that isn't a musical so much as it's a movie about music.

Grease was another favorite that I saw with my Jr. High class.
I like most musicals except Evita. I just couldn’t get through it.

My mother loved Evita. I had zero interest in it. She saw it a few times and went on and on about it!
I never could get into musicals, but in retrospect, there are movies that I've enjoyed that seem to be somewhat music-based. Like Singing in the Rain.
But I think a lot of my enjoyment of these movies has more to do with my love of dance.

Maybe it was for an older crowd when it came out? Although I don’t remember anyone who was interested in Evita. I honestly tried because of the cast but just couldn’t.
I grew up watching musicals of old because my mother was a great deal older when I was born and she loved musicals. Musicals and Doris Day. 😂

It more precisely pinpoints his relationship with Harley. I know they always addressed it, but this does a better job of delving into it.

I'm not really a fan of the girl-boss take that a lot of comic book movies over the last ten years or so have taken but if they manage to get Harley as a perfect counterweight to Mista' Jay and as dangerous in her own right I think that would be a good nod for women and girls who want to write a proper baddie with a proper womanly aspect to them and I'm hoping this might be the movie that pulls that off.
It's happened before in non-comic book films but they really seemed to not be able to hire any brains on that type of movie since The Dark Knight
