John was beep annoying the entire movie, it's unbelievable that he basically forgot that he had a wife and two kids and just payed attention to Esther. That's actually something that adoptive parents are specifically told not to do. I cheered when he was killed, it was good that he was the only one LOL

I don't know if it was the actor. This is going to sound bad I know, but if he was more masculine than Peter.. They could have written him better or he could have played it a bit more strong. Bawling over a glass of wine. Ugh. No thanks.

Yeah pretty much thought the same thing. I mean, yeah you can't blame him for being skeptical that their kid is a killer right away (even though it was true, it certainly wasn't a likely scenario). But the fact that he was so oblivious to there being SOMETHING wrong with her is ridiculous.
