Is a ripoff of the movie Cloverfield. Its a monster invasion movie, but they've done it so much like Cloverfield.
The thing is, I could have brushed it off, but the trailer is done 110% like the Cloverfield teaser/main trailer.. Watch both of these, then monsters trailer.

Well, look at it this way. According to the IMDb, both this and Cloverfield came out at the same time. Personally, I thought Cloverfield was at least endureable if not enjoyable at a certain degree, but this movie . . . it would've been better if it was the point of view of a Godzilla survivor.

Omega was some what good but AVH was oh hum boring and you realy felt sorry for william Katt. Then again I am legened whic was ripped of by I am Omega is it self a rip off of the Omega Man with C. Heston. A new movies idea has not been invented in years.

I am Legend isn't a ripoff of anything at all. Yes Omega Man came before it, but Omega Man, The Last Man On Earth, and I am Legend are all based off the short story titled "I Am Legend". So all three are remakes and not ripoffs. Else you'd have to say Omega Man is a ripoff of Last Man On Earth since it came out first. -

Cutting hairs but OK, as it is it is very clear that writers have run out of new ideas and are reusing and reusing and reusing the same stories over and over changing a little bit hear and there but for the most part are just reamakes of other movies based on old stories or books but nothing new or original.

So we got this movie in at the Blockbuster I work at, it comes out on Tuesday January 15th. I rented it already (because we get to rent movies early to let customers know if they are good or not) and have to say it is quite possibly the worst move I have seen and I have seen the mess known as Gigli. Not only is it incredibly boring with the picture cutting in and out all the time, but the characters constantly bring up You Tube. Since this movie takes place in January of 03 they couldn't possibly have known about You Tube since it was not launched until DECEMBER 05!!!
So yeah, if you waste your time on this movie and do not heed my warning to stay away from it, you deserve the lost hour and a half of your life. -

Thank You Jonas190!
I always heed the advise of the people that work at my video store.
BUT! My husband went alone and rented it, after I told him last week that I thought it looked like a bad movie.
Not a B-movie, they can be campy and funny {like 'Arachnid' which was hilarious!}. This was really Bad.
We watched about a half hour of it, when the 'monster' came up from the
ground and they went into the hole that it came out of, we stopped the movie.
How can these producers and directors be proud of what they did?
They ripped off the public, and they KNOW they did.
My four year old nephew has a better video camera then they had.
I know the effect was for show, but that was just way too much.
And where the camera was aimed at when it was working
this wasn't a monster movie, it was a horror show!
I'm not one to say something bad about movies that I didn't enjoy,
but I don't think I've ever seen one this bad.
I'm not putting down people who like the movie, to each his own. -

THANK YOU!!! The youtube reference was terribel and so was the constant "WE'RE AMERICANS!!!" I thoguht I was gonna shoot myself. Oh and did you notice the typo on the case? The back of the box said it happened in 2005 and was found on 2007, yet movie obviously takes lpace in 2003. That was pretty funny too. Oh and did you love the way it kept saying it was a true story and it was an actual documentary, as if the human race is really so stupid as to beleive that poorly written and shot film was actually ral footage?? Classic.

Well I got this idea for a movie about a guy that gets bit by a radio active spider and it gives him these superpowers. It's called Tarantula Dude. Or how about the one about the treasure hunter and archaeologist called Pennsylvania Smith?? Gotta love the Asylum haha

Yeah, i had a few ideas for a movie, 1st was about a baby sent to earth from a dying planet by his parents and as he grows up he finds he has superpowers, i thought i'd call it Superguy or something.
The other was about about a captain in the US Army in the vietnam war who is sent up river to assasinate a colonel who has gone insane. Apocalypse soon.
He he he
