For a knock off, this was done pretty ok. The leads were not bad, I've seen SO much worse nevermind that I watched about 20 minutes in the middle of the movie on fast forward, but other than that slow moving part it was not too bad. Of COURSE Cloverfield was better, but hey, for the money they spent these guys did alright. (just totally ignore those squiddy arms and imagine a better monster, you'll be alright lol)

The leads were Ok, but it was more of the script. I watched (yes after surviving a possible brain explosion) the entire movie and the special features. They seem like really cool females. Sarah Lynch is a fox I must say. The rest of the supporting cast (the people of Japan) were pretty good in their roles, I guess.

Yeah, considering what i'd heard about this movie, I thought it wouldn't even be entertaining on a lazy/drunken/stoney night. But this movie turned out to be a lot better than I expected. It's a lot better than all the other Asylum movies that are out, and I thought some parts were actually well done (the car flying down the street, the distress created by them being in a foreign country during the attack, them finding the other film crew towards the end). And yeah I agree, obviously cloverfield is better, but for having a much smaller budget, this one did it pretty well too worth checking out more than people give it credit for
