This is at least reminiscent to the original series. That West Coast Crap feels like I'm watching CSI, which is sad because Alfred Molina deserves better. I'm just saying
You laugh at me because I'm different. I laugh at you because you're all the same.

Just one problem: they're re-using the plotlines from the original U.S. 'Law and Order', all of which I remember vividly, so there is no mystery for me.

LOLA is unwatchable. They even tried to move the DA Terrence Howard to L&O SVU for one episode no doubt to round up ratings for LOLA. I wasn't sure he would of got back on the plane to LA. I say put this show on NBC and send LOLA to canceled show hell where it belongs. It almost reminds me of a mix of 21 Jump Street and TJ Hooker.
That way Dick Wolf is happy because the UK version is the exact version of the mother ship and he can stop trying to kill SVU because he is pissed off because they canceled the original L&O. Oh and have Molina join the UK cast. Which he should of done anyway.

            "LOLA is unwatchable"
It takes real talent to have Alfred Molina AND Terrence Howard in your show, and still end up with garbage.

LOL I agree it like when someone said in a movie, It takes a lot of money to look cheap. It took a lot of talent to make LOLA unwatchable.

Agreed. I normally don't like British imports (or really anything British), but my best friend invited me over to watch this show and I actually like it. It's fun to compare and contrast between these episodes and the one from the original L&O. Even the characters as reminiscent of those from L&O, especially Ronnie and Lennie.
Christian Bale is sacrilege. Do you see any Americans playing Bond?
