Who wrote "Go To Theater"?

At first I thought it was Jess 1 (our Jess), because that's how she drew Greg 1 attention to go to the theater and kill him. But then we saw Greg 2 being killed by Jess 2 (the mean Jess). So it means Jess 2 also wrote that note. The problem is that when Jess 2 took Downey and Sally to the room and killed them the note wasn't there. It was then Jess 1 who wrote it (again?) after cleaning up the room from Downey's body.
We never see either Jess 1 or Jess 2 wiped the note in that room. Also if the note wasn't there how come Jess 2 could make Greg go to the theater and subsequently kill him?
This is a wonderful film btw. -

There are actually 3 versions of Jess on board the Aeolus at any given time. We see which Jess writes the message. Every version of Jess writes "go to the theater". The unknowable question is when the message gets cleaned up, which we can only speculated about. For a better understanding of how all the events of the 3 overlapping timelines correlate check out the Triangle Event Matrix.xlsx that can be downloaded from here:

.
And agreed, it's a terrific film.
Never believe. Always question. Rebuke belief, a.k.a. bias, a.k.a. groupthink, a.k.a. ideology, the bane of skeptical, logical reason.
