The first half was boring, nothing exciting happening. Then I fell asleep and didn't wake up until the credits. Pretty pissed because tickets for this were around $20 each. Since the first half didn't meet expectations I guess i'll just wait and see the rest of it on HBO or something someday… The main girl had some nice boobs but she never got them out while I was awake or even after I fell asleep as far as I can tell. What a waste of potential plot points!
4/10 from what I saw of it.

I did indeed need that nap since I only had 2 hours sleep in the last couple days unless you count the times I fell asleep driving. I've been working out of town for a couple months at 3 hours a day drive time and that's really been cutting into my sleep and filmboards **** off time.

What's that?
I go to Cinemark theaters.
This movie was actually free because I used the 2 free tickets I got as a reward for completing my Movie Club Platinum requirements for 2024 by making 25 visits or buying 60 tickets already this year. Last year I think it took until October to complete.

AMC has a $25 a month subscription plan that lets you see up to 3 movies a week. I don't think it has any restrictions on opening nights or IMAX screens or anything either. Regal has something similar too I think.

In Hungry's 3rd world state, it's probably only 19.99 for a AMC pass.
The only shows you can't use it for are limited engagement classics and events (excluding screen unseen), which we all know Hungry isn't interested in.

Where I live it's a mixed bag. Most theaters are AMC. Some fancy ones and some absolute **** holes. The one Regal I know of is niceish but it's out of my way so there's no reason to go.
I can get discounted tickets from work so the subscription doesn't make sense for me. I'd need to average 3 visits a month to come out ahead. -

There are similar deals in the UK but the big chains don't show enough interesting films to make it worthwhile. Maybe when I'm old and retired and just want something to do on rainy days I'll subscribe and watch some films several times.

$25 a month to see 12 to 15 movies?
That's a fantastic deal. Around $2 each… how do they make money?
That can't be real. Even if you just used it to see 1 movie a week that more than pays for itself.

Theaters make most of their money from the concession stand so as long as they get people in the door it's a win for them. I assume they probably figure that there's going to be a certain percentage of people paying the subscription but not using it for $25 worth of movies so that's also free money for the theater.
After moviepass popped up a few chains experimented with their own and and it must be working because the plans have been around for a while now.

For the normal person who isn't addicted to the flashing lights, big sounds and the empty calories of concession vendors, they would be hard-pressed to even find 4 movie/month that are worth watching, even in Summer and Winter breaks, when they supposedly show their best stuff.
