Any show that canβt make it to season 3 is a huge failure. It only got a 2nd season because it checked the woke boxes, not because it was anything groundbreaking.
Honestly I think that show was on the wrong network. Had it been on BET, it would have been more successful. Since when did white audiences give a **** that black people had wonder years?? The Boomers and their generation were like " black people having fun during the 60s?? Well this is an abomination! Cancel this ****!"

Yeah well white people stole the story of Steel Magnolias from black actors. For example, since has a white woman succumbed to diabestes??
But then we got Steel Magnolias back staring Queen Lahtifa an overweight black woman. I liked the black version more than the white version.
