If they can do it to us caucasians, it doesn't feel right or fair that we cannot turn the tables on other races.
I don't get it why it seems racist and sexist to do it to them but not to us.
That is really ****ed up ways of thinking.
When they do that ****, it really makes me not want to watch it and hope it bombs and fails.
Is there a demand for that ****?
Where there a bunch of blacks saying, "Gee, I wonder what a Wonder Years cast would be like with blacks instead," or chicks saying, "What would Doogie Howser be like as a girl of mixed race instead?"
Can't they like stop stealing and just do it under different names and titles instead?
What's next?
Threes Company where the man really will be gay but pretend to be straight with a Mexican tranny and a black lesbian for roomates? -

LOL
Love it!
I wanna play!
Come on in my back door
Hope you donβt mind the pooh
Where thereβs Muslims and gays and dwarfs and tards
And three bumbling Jews
On your knees on our floor
Try something new
A chick with a dick that cums on your face in our place,
A tranny with a tool.
You'll empty your balls again, a crazy orgy is calling for youβ¦
Go down to enjoy the view
Sexual company for you! -

So why not remake The Jeffersons with an all white cast?
"The Jeffersons" is a surname referring to specific people.
The Wonder Years is a period piece about a separate family - they're not playing the same characters (the Arnolds).
It's just using the same title.
Nothing to do with wokeness here or diversity, just racists want to talk about it every time they see black people in a tv show.
There are two kinds of people who point this out: racists and those with legit literary critiques. The latter doesn't apply. They're separate characters.
If people watch the trailer and enjoy the jokes as they would naturally, they'd see that, but their mind is already made up before they watch it because they see black people and Wonder Years together.
Never lose your desire. -

Stop calling me a racist!!! Okay?
Stop it! I am not racist.
If the network doesn't want any confusion between this Wonder Years and the Wonder Years starring Fred Savage, then they should have renamed the damn show. But no! They didn't because they were trying to pull a bait n switch on viewers and transfer the nostalgia from the first Wonder Years show to this other Wonder Years. It's like a scammer trying to sell knock off designer products. -

Oh great another one of those shows. So it's not a comedy then. It's a political drama from a young black boy's point of view.
And you think this show is supposed to heal racial divide? Well anyway back then the presence of Latinos, Asians, other Africans, people from the Middle East weren't also living in the black community or even in the USA in large numbers. There wasn't a strong undocumented workers influence on culture and politics. -

From his perspectiveβ¦
Then maybe the very last moment for the very last show as an adult he will be pulled over for no reason and the racist cop either shoots him or puts him in a choke hold and the screen fades to black from his POV as he dies.
Now that would be really heavy!
Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't.
