Dude I went to school with was shot and killed after he broke into someone's home a few years back.
Knew a kid who shot himself at his middle school. He was planning on committing a school shooting but decided to shoot himself instead.
Had some friends who were involved in gangs. A few of them were shot.
A friend of one of my parents was shot and killed by their husband who then killed himself.
Someone I used to work with was shot by a stray bullet during a drive-by.
